Happy Hour birthday card

Last week I started my new Friday feature showing how to use our all occasion stamp sets for Christmas cards. First up was a Happy Hour Christmas card.

But of course this stamp set isn’t just for Christmas Laughing

Today I’ve used it to create a birthday card. I noticed that the pattern on the brandy glasses was the same as one of the Modern Medley papers and so focused on that combo.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Basic Black. Using Raspberry Ripple ink, the Cheers sentiment from the Happy Hour set (W132013 or C126642) was stamped over the Modern Medley DSP (126926). The 1-3/8″ Circle punch (119860) was used top and bottom of the paper and Coastal Cabana card punched with the 1-3/4″ Circle punch (119850) was adhered directly behind each aperture as a frame. After stamping the brandy glass twice onto scraps of Very Vanilla card with Raspberry Ripple ink the cocktail umbrella was stamped over it with Coastal Cabana ink. These glasses were adhered in place to the card front and then the DSP mat was popped up on dimensionals over the top.

On the Very Vanilla insert, the glass and umbrella were stamped again and a birthday sentiment from the same set was added with Raspberry Ripple ink.

A great set for all occasions.
