To help you with ideas for earning your freebies, each week until the end of Sale-a-bration, I’m  suggesting a possible bundle and sharing  a couple of projects that use that bundle. These are only suggestions – you’re always free to switch and change to suit your preferences, or choose something else entirely! :)

This week’s suggested bundle is aimed at anyone brand new to paper crafting (you’ll only need to find your own scissors and glue) or those who may not have tried out our inks, cardstock or blocks yet (the blocks are so comfortable in your hand, no hard corners to dig in):

LOTUS BLOSSOM BUNDLE

£9.95 Painted Blooms DSP (137784)
£6.25 Brights Cardstock (131282)
£7.50 Whisper White cardstock (106549)
£4.95 Crushed Curry inkpad (131173)
£4.95 Pumpkin Pie inkpad (126945)
£4.95 Wild Wasabi inkpad (126959)
£7.50 Clear Block D (118485)

£46.05   Total

FREE Lotus Blossom stamp set (139143)

(If ordering online then you get to choose your freebie when you checkout).

Here’s the first project made with the bundle.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Daffodil Delight (cut a full A4 sheet in half across the longest edge and then fold it in half). Add a layer of Painted Blooms DSP cut slightly smaller than the card front. Cut a 2″ x 3″ piece of Whisper White card. Ink the most solid Lotus Blossom with Crushed Curry, stamp it off first onto some scrap paper and then stamp it onto the Whisper White card. Ink the middle Lotus Blossom with Crushed Curry and stamp it over the top (without stamping off first). Ink the smallest Lotus Blossom stamp with Pumpkin Pie ink and stamp over the top. Use Pumpkin Pie ink to stamp the thank you sentiment below the flower. Ink the solid stem with Wild Wasabi, stamp it off first onto some scrap paper and then stamp at the base of the flower, going off the card. Ink the thinner stem with Wild Wasabi and stamp it over the top (without stamping off first). Adhere this stamped piece to a 2-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ piece of Pumpkin Pie card and adhere to the centre of the card front.

For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White card, slightly smaller than the card front size. Stamp the middle Lotus Blossom in one corner using Crushed Curry ink and adhere it to the inside back of the card.

I’ll be back with another project using this same bundle soon.
