Bright and cheery Mini Treat Bag

July 30, 2017

While I still had the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits out on my desk from this project I decided to make a quick Treat Bag. They take no time to cut and assemble and are handy to have around if you need a quick gift when family or friends call unexpectedly over the summer. The Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist combo are bright and cheery enough to carry through the summer too.

The Mini Treat Bag was cut from Fresh Florals DSP and folded over at the top. A tag was created by cutting a banner from the set with Berry Burst card and trimming the flag from one end. The For You sentiment was die cut from Lemon Lime Twist card and adhered direct. After punching a 1/8″ Handheld Circle in the top of the tag it was threaded onto Lemon Lime Twist Woven Ribbon and tied around the Treat Bag in a bow. The tag was finished with a few different sizes and shades of the Glitter Enamel Dots (although these are actually Old Olive the lighter shade ones work quite well with the Lemon Lime Twist).

The ribbon can be slid off the bag for it to be filled with a gift card or small chocolate bar then simply slide it back on again so that you don’t have to retie the bow.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Sara xx
