With just over a week to Mother’s Day, I thought I’d make today’s card for that occasion.

The card base is an A6 portrait of Pistachio Pudding, matted with Sweet Sorbet DSP (133521 – available FREE with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration). A panel of more Pistachio Pudding was punched along one edge with the Scallop  Trim Border (118402) and matted with a different design of the Sweet Sorbet DSP. Twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack (133522 – also available FREE with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration) was tied in a bow around this punched panel before popping up on dimensionals on the card front. The Spiral Flower (129379) was used to die cut another design of the Sweet Sorbet DSP and Crisp Cantaloupe card. After shaping with a bone folder, the spirals were rolled together into a single flower and finished with a Large Pearl (125577) in the centre. The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments (Wood 130042 or Clear 120024) was stamped onto Whisper White card with Calypso Coral ink and snipped into a banner. A very thin strip of Champagne Glimmer Paper (127885) was added to the banner before adhering to to the base of the spiral flower and then to the card front. The small cork diamonds from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack were adhered in a random pattern to the panel on the card front and topped with teeny Basic Pearls (119247).

On the Whisper White insert, the sentiment from Field Flowers (Wood 128583 or Clear 122762) was stamped in Calypso Coral ink. A strip of Sweet Sorbet DSP was punched with the Scallop Trim Border and adhered to the insert before finishing with a cork flower from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack.

I’m really going to miss the Sweet Sorbet DSP when it disappears at the end of the month, it’s such a beautiful mix of patterns.
