Sweet Sorbet box envelope

Yesterday’s Mother’s Day card was such a 3D one that there’s no way it will go in an envelope Surprised

So I made a box envelope for it using my trusty Envelope Punch Board (133774).

The box was created using the same tutorial that I shared here, starting with a piece of card, 10″ x 10″ and scoring at 3-3/4″ and 5-1/4″ (the very end of the board). This box base is cut from Basic Black card and matted on the front with a large panel of Sweet Sorbet DSP (133521 – available FREE with a £45 purchase during Sale-a-bration). It was tied closed with Pistachio Pudding Ruffled Stretch Trim (130020) and then a flower popped up over the ribbon on dimensionals. The flower was made by layering two Blossoms (125603) punched from Pool Party card. A flower from the Petal Parade set ( another SAB freebie – Wood 133599 or Clear 133602) was stamped in Pool Party ink onto Whisper White card and punched with the 1-3/4″ Circle (119850). Finally an Itty Bitty flower (118309) was punched from Summer Starfruit and a Basic Pearl (119247) added to the centre.

The card fits inside nicely.
