Back to a standard card design today 🙂

The sketch challenge over at SUDSOL this week is an easy one:

Sketch241

And so I dressed up the simple shapes a little:

fishin' around

The card base is an A6 landscape of Baked Brown Sugar. After stamping the sentiment from Happy Day (Wood 130294 or Clear 130297), with Baked Brown Sugar ink onto a strip of the wavy I Am Me DSP (130138), it was matted onto Pumpkin Pie card and adhered direct to the card front. A medallion was die cut from Pool Party card with the Perfect Pennants Bigz die (123126), threaded with Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon (119253) and popped up on dimensionals on the front of the card. Using a Mini Glue Dot, a teeny bow of the same ribbon was added at the base of the medallion. Fishin’ Around (Wood 131118) was stamped onto Whisper White card with Black Stazon ink, coloured with Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede and Pool Party markers and punched out with the 1-3/4″ Circle (119850). Fish tank sand (the same I use for shaker cards) was adhered at the bottom of the image and Champagne Glass Glitter (120997) over the treasure chest before popping the image up on dimensionals in the centre of the medallion. (You could use the Silver Glass Glitter that’s on offer on our Weekly Deals this week instead).

Thanks for stopping by.
