Gently Falling on vellum

Happy weekend! I’m so glad the bank holiday weekend is here. A chance to catch up with friends and share ideas and news! Lots to share with you as we make our way through the weekend but just for now, I’ll share this card with you 🙂

The card base is an A6 portrait of Crumb Cake. A sentiment from Express Yourself (hostess set  Wood 130336 or Clear 130339) was stamped down one edge in Chocolate Chip ink. Using the same Chocolate Chip ink, a variety of the solid leaves from Gently Falling (Wood 128430 or Clear 123804) were stamped onto Very Vanilla card. A piece of Vellum card (106584) was positioned over the top and the matching outline images were stamped in Versamark ink (102283) (some little pieces of Washi Tape held both layers in place for this stage), then heat embossed with Gold EP (109129). Both layers were adhered direct to the card front and some narrow strips of Champagne Glimmer Paper (127885) used to cover the adhesive showing through the Vellum at each side.

On the Very Vanilla insert, the solid acorn from Gently Falling was stamped in the corner in Baked Brown Sugar and then the outline and another sentiment from Express Yourself were stamped in Chocolate Chip ink.

Have a fabulous weekend!
