Day 11 of our new and returning colour focus, where I’m sharing projects that showcase one of these additions to the Stampin’ Up! colour families and suggesting a possible colour combination.
Today’s colour is the returning Mint Macaron. This is a previous In Color which is returning to the main colour collection as part of the Subtles family.
I’ve combined it with another paler shade, using the existing Sahara Sand and then added a little depth of colour with the existing Cherry Cobbler.
The card base is an A6 portrait of Mint Macaron, matted with Cherry Cobbler and a smaller panel of Sahara Sand. A card front layer of Whisper White was die cut with two of the Eastern Medallion thinlits. Using the lace pattern created as a guide, stamps from the Eastern Beauty set were stamped around the inside and outside circles using Mint Macaron and Sahara Sand inks. Cherry Cobbler ink was used to stamp a sentiment from the set in the lower right section of the card front before popping it up on the card front with dimensionals. Faceted Dots and Basic Rhinestones were added to finish the design on the front.
One the Whisper White insert, a border was created by stamping a motif from the Eastern Beauty set down the right side alternating Mint Macaron and Sahara Sand inks.
Thanks for stopping by.
