Share What You Love choc gable box

September 10, 2018

A total change of pace today. Moving away from Christmas and cards for a little gift box. The Share What You Love DSP has some sweet little flowers for fussy cutting out. Just one fussy cut flower was needed for decorating this box.

The Gable Boxes come in both Silver and Lustrous White and are perfect for gifting either home-made or shop-bought chocolates.

The flowers in the DSP are Grapefruit Grove which tones very well with Calypso Coral giving a colour combo of Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove and metallic Silver.

A Silver Mini Gable Box was decorated on the front and sides with one of the patterns of Share What You Love DSP and one of the flowers in the same pattern was fussy cut out. Using Calypso Coral ink, a sentiment from Perennial Birthday was stamped onto Whisper White card and then die cut out with the Stitched Shapes framelits. A larger Layering Oval was die cut from Silver Foil and the two were adhered together and popped up on the front of the box with dimensionals. The single fussy cut flower was popped up on the side of the oval with another dimensional and the box was tied shut with a bow of Calypso Coral Sheer Ribbon.

The Gable Boxes are food safe but for presentation I prefer to line them with a little greaseproof paper.

A tray of chocolates was cut into three sections which just fit nicely within the box.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
