Snowfall flower card

November 22, 2018

The Snowfall thinlits aren’t just for Christmas. They make beautiful flowers too.

But first – important news!!

We’re contributing to the Black Friday savings with a Stampin’ Up! Extravanganza starting tomorrow and continuing through to Wednesday 28 November, with different deals on different days so be sure to check back to lock in savings on your favourite cart supplies!

And now back to the crafting. The colour combo used for today’s card is Mango Melody, Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo.

The card base is a small square of Mango Melody card, matted with Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo. A sentiment and flourishes from Animal Outing were stamped with Mango Melody and Mint Macaron inks onto a card front layer of Whisper White before adhering it direct to the card front. Flowers and leaves were die cut from  Mango Melody, Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo card using the Snowfall thinlits. Darker shades of card were created for the large flower and the leafy fronds by swiping scraps of Mango Melody and Mint Macaron card with matching ink pads. The large flower was popped up on a dimensional and then all other flowers and leaves were adhered direct. Basic Rhinestones were used to finish all the flowers.

A border was created down the Whisper White insert simply by die cutting negative spaces using some of the Snowfall thinlits used on the front.

Thanks for stopping by.
