Sara’s Crafting and Stamping Studio

Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Hello to a new team member

January 17, 2019

I’ve recently had two new additions to my crafting team. One joined on the very first day of Sale-a-bration and the other joined last week. I made both of them a little gift package of goodies and of course, a card, to welcome them. This was the card for the first new team member.

Welcome card for new team member using Organdy Ribbon (SAB freebie) and Life is Grand stamps

It combines some of the Organdy Ribbon (a Sale-a-bration freebie) with the Life is Grand stamp set.

Colour combination mixing Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist, all from Stampin' Up!

Colour combo is Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist.

The card base is an A6 landscape of Highland Heather. Using Highland Heather ink, one of the stamps from the Life is Grand set was cut apart to split the sentiment and just one section was stamped onto a card front layer of Whisper White. Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist ribbon from the Organdy Ribbon combo Pack were adhered vertically down the left side of the layer (securing them only on the reverse) and then the same colours of ribbon were woven through the original ones, this time horizontally (also secured on the reverse. The layer was adhered direct to a mat of Daffodil Delight card and then direct to the card front.

Insert using Botanical Butterfly DSP (SAB freebie)

On the Whisper White insert, a strip of Botanical Butterfly DSP was adhered along the base leaving plenty of room for me to write a welcome message.

If you’d also like to join my team, then see here for more details or sign up now!

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
