Sara’s Crafting and Stamping Studio

Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

Hello again

January 18, 2019

Yesterday I shared a welcome card. Today I’m back with the card I made for my second new team member. It’s exactly the same design but a different colour combination.

Welcome card for new team member using Organdy Ribbon (SAB freebie) and Life is Grand stamps

The Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack, a Sale-a-bration freebie, contains 5 different colours of ribbon, allowing for many different combinations of ribbon weaving 😉

Colour combination mixing Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather and Balmy Blue, all from Stampin' Up!

The colour combo is Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather and Balmy Blue.

Welcome card for new team member using Organdy Ribbon (SAB freebie) and Life is Grand stamps

The card base is an A6 landscape of Lemon Lime Twist. Using Lemon Lime Twist ink, the (cut apart) “hello” sentiment from the Life is Grand set was stamped onto a card front layer of Whisper White. Highland Heather and Balmy Blue ribbon from the Organdy Ribbon combo Pack were adhered vertically down the left side of the layer (securing them only on the reverse) and then the same colours of ribbon were woven through the original ones, this time horizontally (also secured on the reverse. The layer was adhered direct to a mat of Highland Heather card and then direct to the card front.

Insert using Botanical Butterfly DSP (SAB freebie)

On the Whisper White insert, a co-ordinating strip of Botanical Butterfly DSP was adhered along the base leaving plenty of room for me to write a welcome message.

I’d love to have an excuse to make some more welcome cards 😉 so if you’d also like to join my team, then see here for more details or sign up now!

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great weekend.

Sara xx
