I’ve shared some of the swaps that I made for Onstage here and here. This Berry Burst sentiment medley swap card still uses the sentiment medley technique, but it was stepped up a little, with the addition of some “embellishments” made with the Needlepoint Nook suite.

Berry Burst is one of the 2017-19 In Colors, along with Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig. All of these colours are retiring soon and the Needle & Thread bundle is also retiring, so worth ordering them now while you still can!

Colour Combo

Base card and ink are both Berry Burst and the embellishments were stamped with Berry Burst ink onto Whisper White.

Instructions

Start with an A6 portrait card base of Berry Burst. On a card front layer of Berry Burst, stamp with sentiments and images from One For All, Perennial Birthday and Itty Bitty Birthdays, using Berry Burst ink. Adhere the layer direct to the card front. Stamp flowers from the Needle & Thread set onto scraps of Whisper White card with Berry Burst ink. Die cut theses out with the matching Needlepoint Elements framelits. Pop the “embellishments” up on the card front using dimensionals. Finish the centres of the flowers with Basic Rhinestones.

On a Whisper White insert, stamp another sentiment and image from Needle & Thread with more Berry Burst ink.
