I’ve been meaning to try this technique for ages, so while I had a bit of time, I made a whole batch of these. For some, I used bright colours and others, more subtle shades. This outer floating frame card in Daffodil Delight uses the Stitched Rectangles to create the frame within Cherry Blossom flowers.
This card is a bit involved, partly because I chose a stamp set that looks better coloured in. The good news though is that you actually get two cards from all the work. I’ll be back soon to share the card that was “leftover” from this one.
This is the same Forever Blossoms bundle that I used on the Mother’s Day cards here and here so you can see how versatile it is.
COLOUR COMBO
This colour combo mixes Daffodil Delight, Whisper White and Basic Black.
INSTRUCTIONS
I’ll be back soon with a post to explain the technique in full.
Using Gray Granite ink stamp the blossom spray, flowers and leaves from the Forever Blossoms set onto Whisper White card. Colour the images with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive duo combo Blends and die cut out with the matching Cherry Blossoms die. Die cut out the centre with a Stitched Rectangle and pop the flowers up with dimensionals. On a smaller Stitched Rectangle die cut from Whisper White, stamp a sentiment from the Seriously the Best set using Tuxedo Black ink. Pop this up in the centre of the card using dimensionals. Finish with Basic Rhinestones.
On the Whisper White insert, stamp the flower sprays from the Forever Blossoms set with Daffodil Delight ink.
Thanks for stopping by.
