Inner daffodil floating frame

May 4, 2020

This inner daffodil floating frame card is the “other half” of the card that I made here using this technique. The technique creates panels that can be used for two cards.

I’ll be sharing other samples made using the same technique soon.

INSTRUCTIONS

Inner daffodil floating frame card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Daffodil Delight. Using Gray Granite ink stamp the blossom spray, flowers and leaves from the Forever Blossoms set onto Whisper White card. Colour the images with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive duo combo Blends and die cut out with the matching Cherry Blossoms die. Die cut out the centre with a Stitched Rectangle. Pop the flowers up with dimensionals in the centre of a larger Stitched Rectangle die cut from Whisper White. Adhere the layers direct to the card front. Using Tuxedo Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the Seriously the Best set onto a small narrow Stitched Rectangle die cut from Whisper White. Pop this up on the card front using dimensionals. Finish with Basic Rhinestones to fill any gaps.
