When I sent out the make and takes for our April Paper Dolls Inspiration Meeting, I included in them, a vellum Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box die cut from Perennial Essence Vellum. The colours varied but each team member received the plain die cut box and a mini label. It was entirely up to them how they decorated them. I decided to make two boxes using different embossing techniques.

The Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box die is carrying forward. I absolutely love this box for gifting little treats. It got huge use at Christmas and I’ve only just realised that I didn’t take pics of those because I made so many. I even used it as a lozenge box here.

The Perennial Essence Vellum is retiring. Each pack of vellum includes 4 sheets each of 3 colours – Old Olive, So Saffron and Petal Pink.

COLOUR COMBO

The first colour combo mixes So Saffron, Very Vanilla and Crushed Curry.

INSTRUCTIONS

Die cut a Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box from a So Saffron sheet of Perennial Essence Vellum*. Tip – I recommend pre-folding before the next step as the embossing makes the vellum a little brittle. Run it through the Tin Tile embossing folder. Die cut a small square label from a scrap of Very vanilla card using a die from the same Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box set. Using Crushed Curry ink, stamp a sentiment from the Memorable Mosaic set* onto the label. Tip – I cut apart my sentiment so that it will fit into a narrower space. Tie the label onto the box with Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.

COLOUR COMBO

The second colour combo mixes Petal Pink, Very Vanilla and Terracotta Tile.

INSTRUCTIONS

Die cut a Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box from a Petal Pink sheet of Perennial Essence Vellum*. Using Versamark ink, stamp two different outline flowers from the Vibrant Vases set* onto alternate sides of the box. Heat emboss with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Die cut a small square label from a scrap of Very vanilla card using a die from the same Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box set. Using Terracotta Tile ink, stamp a sentiment from the Memorable Mosaic* set onto the label. Tie the label onto the box with Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
