Today’s tutorial is for a black & white snowflake card. Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week it’s the Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that use them.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the black & white snowflake card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

This project is a very quick and easy one, that uses very limited supplies. You need black and white card, black ink, one stamp set and the snowflakes. It’s ideal for a beginner crafter – a perfect introduction for a friend who’s never crafted before, or one to do with children perhaps. All it involves is some simple stamping and sticking on the snowflakes!

Colour Combo

The colour combo is only Basic Black and Whisper White.

Black & white snowflake card tutorial

Start with an A6 portrait card of Basic Black. Using Memento Black ink, stamp a sentiment from the Tag Buffet stamp set onto a panel of Whisper White card and adhere direct to the card front. Add Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes (either create a repetitive pattern as here or add them completely randomly).

On the Whisper White insert, using Memento Black ink, stamp another sentiment and the bauble and bow from the Tag Buffet set.
