Today’s tutorial is for a Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass curvy box. This is the same curvy box that I made with Golden Garden Acetate. The pattern on this one hides a little more of what’s on the inside.
Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. I’ll have a selection of tutorials for you throughout the week that use these pretty acetates.
In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the Hydrangea Hill mercury glass curvy box. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.
The Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate pack has four sheets of 12″ x 12″ acetate. There are one each of two designs in two different colours; Highland Heather and Rococo Rose.
Colour Combo
The colour combo mixes Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Basic White.

Die cut a Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box from Hydrangea Hill mercury glass designer acetate. Fold and assemble the box. (Tip – remember that there is a clear film on the silver side of the acetate to protect the printing, this needs to be removed as part of your box assembly). Die cut a small tag from Basic White card using the Hydrangea die set. Using Gorgeous Grape ink, stamp a sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven set onto the tag. Decorate the tag with a flower die cut from Highland Heather card using the Hydrangea dies. Finish with one of the Pastel Pearls. Tie the tag onto the box with Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by.
