Today’s tutorial is for a fancy conversation card. As well as bubble enclosed sentiments, the Conversation Bubbles bundle also includes some teeny decorative images. There are stars and flowers that have matching dies and also some dies that create teeny hearts. We’re combining the teeny Conversation stamp images with the Something Fancy dies and popping them onto a Tea Boutique card.

The Tea Boutique preprinted Cards & Envelopes include all the 2022-2024 In Colors, so you could swap the card base out as wished, or even make a set of these cards quite quickly and easily.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the fancy conversation card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party.

Fancy conversation card

Start with a Tea Boutique Card & Envelope. Using the Something Fancy dies, die cut a large scallop topped tag from Sweet Sorbet DSP and a smaller one from Basic White card. Stamp a sentiment from the Conversation Bubbles set onto the Basic White tag. Add a trio of the teeny flowers from the set below. Using Tahitian Tide ink, stamp the teeny stars above the sentiment. Colour in the stars, flowers and leaves with the Light Blend from the Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party Duos, respectively. Adhere the stamped tag direct to the DSP tag and pop up on the card front with dimesionals, at an angle. Finish with a trio of Iridescent Pastel Gems.

Fancy conversation card inside

On the inside of the card, using Tahitian Tide ink, stamp another sentiment from the Conversation Bubbles stamp set. Add a trio of the teeny stars across the top with the same ink.
