Today’s tutorial is for a sequin accented thanks card. The sequins accent each of the flower heads in the DSP – see video. The video also gives suggestions for use with 3 other packs of DSP.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the sequin accented thanks card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Wild Wheat, Early Espresso and Basic White.

Sequin accented thanks card

Start with an A6 portrait card of Wild Wheat. Trim a (3-5/8″ x 5-1/4″) panel of Fresh as a Daisy DSP and mat onto a (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) card front layer of Early Espresso card. Adhere the layers direct to the card front. Cut a (1/2″ x 2″) Basic White sentiment label. Using Early Espresso ink, stamp a sentiment from the Best Family Ever set onto the label. Mat onto (3/4″ x 2-1/4″) Early Espresso card. Pop the sentiment label up on the card front with dimensionals. Finish by adding (brown) Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the centres of all the flower heads.

On the Basic White insert, using Early Espresso ink, stamp another two sentiments from the Best Family Ever stamp set. Add a skinny border of Wild Wheat across the base.
