Today’s tutorial is for a personalised eclectic birthday card. I’ve made mine for a friend (called Alison of course). Adjust yours for the name you want to use. This may make your sentiment label wider or narrower. For longer names, then overlap the letters more or position them on a diagonal or a slimline card.

This colour combo mixes Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon and Bubble Bath.

Personalised eclectic birthday card

Start with an A6 landscape card of Lost Lagoon. Adhere a (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP direct to the front of the card. Count the number of letters you will be using to help you decide the size of the sentiment label (see video) and cut this from Basic White card. Cut mats from Bubble Bath and Lost Lagoon card, adding 1/4″ to each edge and for each increasing size. Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp a sentiment from the Artistically Inked set onto the Basic White label. Adhere direct to the mats and then pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Trim the letters needed for your personalisation from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP. Pop each letter up on a dimensional below the sentiment. Tip – tilting and slightly overlapping the letters gives a pretty effect and takes away the need to space and position them exactly correct.

Personalised eclectic birthday card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp another another sentiments from the Artistically Inked stamp set. Add borders of Delightfully Eclectic DSP and Pretty Peacock card across the base.
