Today’s tutorial is for an in color pearls hello card. This time we’re using the just one shade of the In Color Pearls to embellish the flowers within the DSP and also to decorate the sentiment label. The card is actually a thank you card but the sentiment is on the inside. It was only after I’d made this card that I realised how close in design it is to this quick irresistible birthday card 🤦

It just shows though that you can add another layer to the card front and/or use sentiment labels to step things up.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the in color pearls hello card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Sweet Sorbet, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight.

Start with an A6 portrait card of Sweet Sorbet. Adhere a (3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″) card front layer of Hello, Irresistible DSP (cut to include negative space at the top for positioning the sentiment). Using All That dies, die cut a shaped and embossed label from Sweet Sorbet card and an embossed oval label from Basic White card. Stamp the hello sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms set on the white label using Sweet Sorbet ink. Adhere this stamped label direct to the Sweet Sorbet label and then pop up on the card front with dimensionals. Add Sweet Sorbet 2022-2024 In Color Pearls to the flower centres within the DSP and to the sentiment label.

On the Basic White insert, using Sweet Sorbet ink, stamp another sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set. Add a wide border of Hello, Irresistible DSP down the right side.
