Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator

20 days of paper projects – day 9

October 20, 2017

On to Day 9 of our 20 day series of projects using patterned paper (also known as Designer Series Paper or DSP for short). Today we’re using the Envelope Punch Board again but this time we’re turning our paper into a cracker of a treat!

This sweet little party favour can be used in so many different ways simply by switching the pattern of paper and the sentiment to suit the occasion. Make them for birthdays, weddings, Christmas … or just because …

A 6″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Petal Garden DSP was scored and then punched, folded and assembled as described in our tutorial here. The flower from Window Shopping was coloured direct to stamp with Pear Pizzazz and Calypso Coral markers, huffed on and stamped onto Whisper White card. Using Basic Black ink the sentiment was stamped over the top and the images punched out with the 1″ Circle. More Petal Garden DSP patterns were punched out using the 1-1/4″ Circle and the 1-3/8″ Circle and then adhered direct. These were popped up on the cracker with a dimensional and then the stamped circle added to the top with another dimensional.

This ribbon treatment is ideal if you struggle a little with bows. By using two different colours of ribbon you can simply tie in a knot and trim and it still looks decorative.

The crackers can hold a couple of small(ish) chocolates.

Don’t forget that in our Designer Series Paper Sale you get one pack free when  you buy three others (pay for this Petal Garden pack which is only £9 and you can choose to get a more expensive one for free!).

Have a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sara xx
