Today’s tutorial is for a quick Enjoy the Journey card. I’ve combined the Enjoy the Journey DSP with the Charming Sentiments stamp set to create a small congrats card.

Each week over on my Facebook page (please pop over and Like or Follow) I choose a product pick of the week to feature. This week, it’s the Enjoy the Journey DSP. I’ll have tutorials for you this week, that share different ideas for using these amazing scenic papers.

The 12″ x 12″ pack includes sunrises, forests and mountains (and more subtle patterns on the reverse). These scenes are mainly mirrored top to bottom in different colour combinations. Each sheet can be cut horizontally to create two different unique scenes.

In the tutorial below, I take you step by step through creating the quick Enjoy the Journey card. I also have a supply list for purchasing anything you don’t already own.

Colour Combo

This colour combo mixes Coastal Cabana, Garden Green and Basic White.

Quick Enjoy the Journey card

Start with a 4″ x 4″ square card base of Coastal Cabana. Cut a card front layer (3-7/8″ x 3-7/8″) of Enjoy the Journey DSP. Using Memento Black ink stamp a sentiment from the Charming Sentiments set into a plain and paler area of the DSP pattern. Adhere the layer direct to the card front.

I recommend using the Stamparatus for stamping to get the crispest, blackest sentiment (see video).

Quick Enjoy the Journey card insert

On the Basic White insert, using Memento Black ink, stamp another sentiment from the Charming Sentiments set a little left of centre. Add a border of Enjoy the Journey DSP down the right side.
